Tips on Keeping Your Vegetables Fresh
All of our produce is cooled in our refrigerated cooler before you recieve it. For the longest shelf life, try and get your produce to the refrigerator soon after you pick it up.
Most vegetables this week will last the longest if you put them in a plastic bag, and then in the refrigerator The plastic bag helps retain moisture and prevents vegetables from drying out. All of our vegetables have been double or triple washed and treated with food grade organic sanitize to maximize shelf life. We have added
I had to go to a soccer game and now all my kale is wilty!
No fear, just cut a 1/2 " off the stems and soak them in cold water for 1 hour. Shake dry, and seal in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. Usually this helps perk up all kinds of the vegetables. I once soaked some rubbery carrots in cold water for 16 hours and they perked right up!
