The Teter Twilight 5k Run for the Honey sponsored by Discover White River will take place on September 28 at 6:30PM. This 5k run/jog/walk will be cross-country style highlighting Teter's new and old trails along the scenic White River. Bring the dogs and kids and enjoy a run, jog, or leisurely stroll, all while contributing to a good cause. Check-in will be from 5:20-6:20 pm with the race starting at 6:30PM in three waves: runners first, joggers second, and walkers third.

The first 240 paid registrants will receive a commemorative jar of honey and the top 20 finishers will receive an artistic bar of soap made from Teter’s honey.

According to Indiana Grown (2015), approximately 90 percent of Indiana’s food is imported. And Feeding America reports that roughly 32,000 Hamilton County residents are food insecure. Last year, Teter Organic Farm, a USDA certified organic farm, donated 40,0000 servings of produce and thousands of eggs to food insecure residents in Hamilton County.
