On Monday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 8, we will be planting over 300 fruit trees to create the Teter Organic Farm orchard!
We will need a lot of hands-on-deck. Tools will be provided, and no one will need to dig holes. Yes ... the holes will be dug ahead of time! Dress for the weather, wear sun screen, and bring a reusable water bottle and gloves.
Come be a part of this significant milestone in Teter's food security mission. A great activity for every age. You are welcome to participate for as long a time (or as short a time) as you have available.
Choose one of two shifts on either day or come for all four!
- Monday June 7: 9AM-Noon & 6-8PM
- Tuesday June 8: 9AM-Noon & 6-8PM
Our new orchard is a significant enhancement to our food security mission as in the future we can donate fruit to local food programs. We know the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members will love it too! This orchard was made possible by a Hamilton County Grant.
